These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BuiltUp ("BuiltUp", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

BuiltUp connects homeowners and property managers with verified tradespeople for services such as home repair and improvement. We do not perform trade services ourselves and are not a party to any agreement between homeowners and tradespeople.

Accounts & Verification

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Tradesperson accounts are subject to a verification review before being listed publicly on the platform.

SMS Terms

By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from BuiltUp, the business and program responsible for these messages, at the number provided.

  • Message types: account verification codes and account-related notifications (e.g. new messages, profile updates).
  • Message frequency: message frequency varies.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt-out: reply STOP to cancel at any time. You will receive a confirmation that your opt-out has been processed and no further messages will be sent.
  • Help: reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@builtup.me.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the platform, including by submitting false information, harassing other users, or attempting to bypass our verification process.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuiltUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
